**About the Role**

You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records and other duties as required by the Dentist, including promoting oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene during the surgery.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting issued from an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or nationally recognized equivalent qualification. - Mandatory
- Adhere to infection protocol
- Currently registered with AHPRA and ADA
- Current Blue Card required.
- Yellow Card - If Applicable
- Have current indemnity insurance - If Applicable
- Advanced Practitioner - Advanced practice demonstrated through a formal qualification, credential, endorsement (or similar), or work history (CV, referees)15+ Years of Experience - Mandatory
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough) Hepatitis B and Covid-19 - Mandatory
- National Police Check - Mandatory
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. - Mandatory
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery.
