**The role**

We are currently looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join our team
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for casual shifts in **all western suburb of Melbourne.** Your primary responsibility will be to support **NDIS participants** living with a disability in their private homes.,Also Elderly This can involve manual handling, community access, transportation, personal care and companionship. This role is perfect for someone with a **person-centred** approach, who is energetic and excited to **make a difference** in people's lives and is **passionate **about the work they do

**Shift time: Various shifts are available.**

**Eligibility criteria**:

- Minimum of **12 months paid experience **in supporting people with disabilities.
- **Certificate IV in Disability**:

- **National Police Check clearance no older than six months.**:

- **Must have High Manual Handling Skills, e.g. transferring people with a hoist.**:

- **Must have high-engaging behaviour skills and experience, such as verbal and physical aggression, absconding, and self-harming behaviours.**:

- Must have **excellent communication skills.**:

- **NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.**:

- **Own reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance are essential.**:

- **Covid-19 fully vaccinated.**:

- **Current First Aid and** **CPR** certificate.
- **Employment Working with Children's Check.**:

- **Two relevant, professional, and industry-related reference checks.**

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual, Contract
Contract length: 60 months

Pay: $31.00 - $93.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 38 per week
