Harcourt Valley OSHClub is looking for a Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position for 28:00 hours per week guaranteed, assisting in leading a team of Educators at a small sized service (40 licenced capacity) located at north-east of Castlemaine and south of Bendigo. This is a fantastic opportunity for those experienced in working with children, dedicated to take ownership of an existing great service and passionate about development of a team with great support structure provided by the leadership team.

**Hours are as follows**: Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 9:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00 - 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus additional admin hours. The middle of your day is free, and you can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too

About the role

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school

Harcourt Valley OSHClub is an existing small service that caters to a tight-knit community in a quaint school with an average of around 0-5 children a day in their before and after school care capacity. This beautiful service is located in Harcourt Valley Primary School which is a small rural school that has retained its rural, family atmosphere, nurturing a sense of wellbeing and belonging amongst its students and school community. Our OSHClub children in this service have access to a shared space with a large outdoor area and a nature walk at the back of the service. It is important to note that this service will be single staffed at the beginning with potential to growing in future.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids
Strong and clear communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
Australian work rights
Meet the minimum VIC requirements to work in ratio in OSHC according to ACECQA, or be willing to obtain a relevant qualification.
