Safety Advisor

Assure Event Safety Services and Avert Risk Management Services (‘Assure Avert’) specialise in Safety and Risk Management services for businesses involved in the entertainment industry. We are currently seeking a full time Safety Advisor to join our professional team helping to bring some of Australia’s biggest and best entertainment events to life.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish and maintain relationships with key production and site stakeholders including Event Managers, Event Contractors and Venue representatives
- Proactively respond to and resolve safety issues
- Provide reliable, consistent safety advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Provide incident management advice, including evidence collection, and ensure serious incidents are escalated appropriately
- Deliver effective and informative safety inductions, toolbox talks and safety communication
- Contribute to continuous improvement, including debrief reporting.

**About You**‍
- 1 + years' experience in the event industry
- Punctual and professional
- Highly developed communication and interaction skills
- Commitment to developing skills and knowledge through training programs and mentoring by experienced professionals.

**Required Qualifications**‍
- Certificate IV WHS
- Unrestricted Drivers licence
- General Construction Induction Card
- Provide First Aid/CPR
- Desirable - National High Risk Work Licence
- Desirable - Experience in rigging, production and staging.
