**About the role**

you will provide vital help to _all creatures great and_ _small _by providing timely transport of goods on behalf of the Op Shop business units. In off-peak periods, you will be required to assist within the Op Shop under the direction of the Wacol Store Coordinator to repair items, sort stock, and perform op shop assistant duties.
- Represent the RSPCA Qld team and brand by approaching your role with positivity, enthusiasm and professionalism
- Work with the Wacol Op Shop Store Coordinator and Queensland Op Shop Manager to support the goals and missions of RSPCA Qld
- Undertake stock movements and conduct logistics in a manner consistent with timeframe expectations both on the truck and within op shop stores as requested by the Store Coordinator
- Complete collections from our shops and donor properties as directed
- Complete delivery to our customers, shops, recyclers, refuse sites and other special works of the RSPCA Qld
- Assist with volunteer vehicle fleet rostering
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Assist with regional transport during peak periods, when required (including but not limited to Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Gympie, Gold Coast, Toowoomba).

**Who are we looking for?**
- A current Open Driver’s motor vehicle licence and excellent driving record
- A current MR (Medium Rigid) licence with at least three years’ experience is essential
- The ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Knowledge of a warehousing environment including vehicles
- Professional presentation
- A trustworthy and honest approach
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability/fitness to undertake physical demands of the role
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Be able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team, including the ability to supervise and train others.

This is a full-time position, based at the Wacol Animal Care Campus, working 38 hours per week. Remuneration is in accordance with the General Retail Award, Level 5 $25.78 per hour + super.

**Applicants who do not possess a current MR licence will not be considered for this role and need not apply. Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance check and a driving assessment.**
