The Role

The work involves :

  • Driving Truck and Dogs and/or B-Double tankers together with Scania Prime Movers with all the comfort and safety aids you can think of.
  • Farm milk collections and deliveries to our customers' factories
  • Pre-starts, cleaning trucks and so on, as you'd expect
  • Following processes to ensure milk quality is of the highest standard for our customer
  • Taking ownership of the work you do and the contribution you make – this is really important because the business owner (Tim) is looking for people who really want to be proud of their professionalism and work ethics.

  • Working DAY and NIGHT on a rotating roster.

  • The roster is typically spread across every day of the week in a regular and predictable rotation, either 4 on, 4 off or 4 days, 3 nights, 3 off and so on

  • The roster is prepared in advance so you can plan for your personal and family time
  • Extra shifts are often available if you are keen.

Training is provided – all you'll need is evidence of:

  • MC B-Double licence and a clean driving record
  • Tanker experience is NOT essential.
  • Reliability and the flexibility to help out others in your team, as you'd like to be helped when you need it.
  • A history of working to a highly professional and safe standards.
  • A positive, cooperative attitude and a willingness to listen, learn and contribute to the Company.
