Sun Industries is a leading **Industrial Printer** utilising digital and screen print technologies to produce high quality and very niche products. We are based in Osborne Park, Western Australia. Established in 1950, our products and services are unique, highly specialised and supplied at the highest quality (ISO9001).

Our digital print processes provide the brewing industry of Australia with beer tap decals for venues, while our screen printing division supplies graphic facias, membrane switches, overlays, resin badges and nameplates to the manufacturing sector of Australia.

**About the role**

We are looking for trainee who is passionate about graphics and printing. A person with a keen eye for detail, a willingness to work hard and to learn skills no other printers in Perth will have. This is definitely not your typical digital print role.

You will learn high quality digital printing using Canon Arizona printers, 3D and colour profiling, laser cutting, screen printing, print finishing, resin doming. The list goes on as our unique and bespoke factory has many features.

**As a Trainee the key outcomes in the role include**:

- Production of high quality digitally printed products on a range of non standard materials from client supplied artwork through to completion.
- Graphic design, colour profiling and stepping of print files using Adobe suite of products.
- Efficient operation of Demak resin doming equipment and Trotec lasers to complete jobs.
- Proofing and stepping of client supplied art for both digital and screen print production.
- Capable and safe use of all finishing equipment
- Fast and efficient completion of work
- Attention to detail and quality controls at every stage of production
- Ability to multitask, work autonomously and carry out general tasks as and when required
