**Job Description**:
BESIX Watpac are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team on a large upcoming project on the Gold Coast. The key responsibilities of this position include:

- Proactively drive company safety, environment and quality policies, practices and procedures in compliance with Management Plans and OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Organise the sequencing of daily and weekly on-site activities and associated resources.
- Review the construction programme with the Site Manager, re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
- Ensure that the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented and monitored at the work face.
- Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

- Degree/Diploma in building/construction, or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field.
- Prior experience supervising site operations on building construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, and lead onsite activites to meet programme, cost and quality objectives.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships.
