**Health Information Manager Mental Health**
**Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight (with monthly ADO)**
**$101,597 - $116,074 pa - depending on experience PLUS Salary Packaging**

**About the Role**

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Ballarat, supporting the operations of the Grampians Mental Health & Wellbeing Service. The role is responsible for health information practices, capacity building, and contributing to service planning.

You will lead and develop a small team, ensuring the validation and reporting of key performance and activity funding data. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in driving compliance with standards and legislation across the service.

**Key Responsibilities**

Lead data collection, reporting and related quality and service improvement activities, also provide guidance related to performance and activity funding requirements
. Provide Leadership, direction and mentoring to direct reports to support a cohesive team
. Demonstrate expert knowledge of and adherence to standards and legislation relevant to the role (such as Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022, Health Records Act 2001, Privacy & Data Protection Act 2014 etc) and actively promote compliance with such standards and legislatio
- n Promote key principles and functions of Health Information Management; Privacy & Confidentiality, Effective Record Management, Accurate and Timely Data, Analysing and Reportin
- g Provide education, support and expert knowledge regarding Mental Health state-wide data collection and managemen

**Skills & Experience**

Bachelor of Health Information Managemen
- t 7 years + experience in a Health Information management role, preferably at least 5 years in Mental Health
. Expert Knowledge of CMI/ODS, IBA PAS, BOSSnet/ Opal and the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act
. Experience liaising and working with Government and non-government agencies and their representatives
