**The role**

**In this role, you’ll be diving into the nuts and bolts of infrastructure contributions—reviewing cost estimates, interpreting quantity surveying reports, and benchmarking development costs to help shape smarter, evidence-based planning policies.

You’ll also be hands-on with creating guidance materials, tracking project data, and supporting public consultation efforts to make sure policies are transparent and grounded in real-world insights.

It’s a fast-paced environment where juggling priorities is part of the job, and accuracy really matters—especially when your analysis feeds into decisions that affect funding and delivery outcomes. You’ll need to navigate complex planning frameworks, coordinate executive documents, and communicate clearly with stakeholders, all while keeping a sharp eye on detail and staying responsive to shifting demands**.**

**What you will bring to the**

- Strong analytical skills to interpret infrastructure contributions plans, infrastructure delivery reports, quantity surveying reports and benchmark infrastructure costs, ensuring policy decisions are grounded in solid evidence.
- Proven ability to develop clear, practical guidance materials and templates that support consistent infrastructure contributions planning across diverse projects.
- Familiarity with planning and environmental legislation, enabling confident navigation of complex policy frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Detail-oriented approach to managing project tracking systems and documentation, ensuring accuracy in reporting and executive decision-making.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and public consultation, with a clear communication style that makes complex planning information accessible and transparent.

**What is an essential requirement**:

- Tertiary degree qualification or other equivalent qualification ideally in fields such Urban/Town Planning, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
