Petersham, Australia PETERSHAM Early Childhood Education Centre Full time

We are a well established 26 place long day care centre catering for ages 1-5 years. We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team, full-time (5 DAYS per week) position as well as someone who is excited to take initiative and implement their own ideas to the children's learning environment. We require a hardworking, enthusiastic person with a passion for children and their development. There are many opportunities for professional development and a sense of belonging and support among our small team of passionate educators.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Possesses an ACECQA approved Diploma in early childhood education;
- Holds a current ACECQA approved First Aid qualification along with Asthma & Anaphylaxis approved training;
- Holds current Child Protection training;
- Has a knowledge of National Quality Framework;
- Possesses a knowledge of National Quality Standards;
- Has a thorough understanding of Early Years Learning Framework;
- Can develop and maintain positive work relationships, liaise with a range of stakeholders;
- Has a natural rapport with staff and students;
- Has the ability to engage students and inspire them to obtain the best results;
- Has a commitment to ongoing professional learning.
- Passionate about 1-6year old children's learning and development
- Can sustain a group time and activity without assistance
- Confidence with planning and programming
- Strong team player who shows initiative
- Energetic, reliable and fun
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Current WWCC
- Be available for shifts between operating hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm

**Salary**: $28.00 - $29.50 per hour
