**The Service**

KU Petersham Preschool, one of our E _xceeding _rated services provides high quality education and care for children aged 3-5 years with a proud focus in learning through nature.

Nestled next to the greenery of Petersham Park, KU Petersham is a 30 place service with street parking available and operates Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm all year round.

**The Role**

We currently have a permanent part time crib break position available for an early childhood educator with a **completed **Certificate III qualification.

This position will see you covering educators while they are on breaks, working **4.5 hours every Monday & Tuesday (9 hours per week).**

**Hours of work**:9:30am - 2pm ( **flexibility on working hours is required)**

The ideal applicant will be a strong team player, flexible and can build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A commitment to sustainability is ideal but not essential.

**_*Access to the casual pool for non-contracted days is also available. _**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- A current employee NSW Working with Children Check
- A recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Completed current training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
