**Right at Home, Sydney Ryde** are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate **Personal Care Workers** to join our team in the Sydney Ryde Region spanning across from Ryde to Gordon and Eastwood to Lane Cove.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;
- Providing support with social and recreational activities;
- Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
- Responding to emergency situations; and
- Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered

**Qualifications**

**Essential Criteria**:

- Certificate III-IV in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability) or currently studying/enrolled Certificate III-IV in Individual Support
- Current National Police Check & Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Experience working with aged and/or person with a disability
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence and your own well
- maintained car
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Covid-19 vaccination certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Smart mobile phone

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $36.89 - $81.15 per hour
