**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Origin is leading the transition to net zero through clean energy and customer solutions. Gas forms an essential part of the energy mix during the transition and Origin, via the Integrated Gas Business Unit, is continuing to invest in gas exploration and production throughout Australia.**

**Reporting to Project Controls Manager, the role will **provide transparent cost measurement and control for our work scopes. This role will provide trend analysis/insights to project owners to make informed decisions and provide awareness of any potential risk and opportunities**

**More about the role**:

- Continually improve tools, processes, and reports to enable effective cost planning and decision making on work program prioritisation, and track costs on an ongoing basis
- Ensure all cost control systems and tools are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review, develop and submit monthly accruals (Actual Cost to Work Performed - ACWP).
- Monitor and analyse actuals in Prism G2 for accuracy of information, working closely with Asset Services Senior Financial Analyst to provide insights on performance
- Provide cost variance analysis and commentary

**You will role model Origin values and behaviours, actively support change initiatives to deliver the IG strategy, and support a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and efficiency**

**More about you**
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of electronic cost control tools, including spreadsheets; Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs. PRISM G2 is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience in SAP
- Demonstrated technical competence in the area of cost tracking and reporting
- Ability to interpret cost and schedule data for forecasting purposes
- Demonstrated ability to deliver good quality work with high levels of accuracy.
