**About the role**

Reporting to the Managing Director and supervising a small team of Internal Sales professionals. This is a hands-on role and is responsible for proactively driving business with existing and new customers, maintaining relationships and building rapport with key contacts.

**Duties**

Staff Management/Leadership
- Ensure team members have individual performance plans
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular appraisals
- Develop team programmes that support the organisation’s business strategy

This is a hands-on role and requires commitment to being part of a small team actively contributing to the following:

- Interpret customer orders in conjunction with technical team and ensure order entry is kept up to date
- Preparation of Quotes, Proposals and Tenders
- Manage contract customers to ensure effective demand forecasting
- Initiate and manage telephone sales and monthly sales call cycles to active accounts and prospects
- Scheduled follow up on all plans, forecasts, quotes and referrals
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customer base and ensure multi level contacts across key accounts

**Skills & experience**
- We seek a customer service or internal sales supervisor with some sort of electrical or power monitoring equipment experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with varying lead times
- Demonstratable experience creating call cycle plans while maintaining accurate records and accountability
- Exposure to managing staff, but still enjoying being hands on and actively involved in building relationships with technical decision makers

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
