**About the role**:
- The Donor Conception Registry Officer is a public-facing role and will be supported by the Donor Conception Registrar.
- The role is responsible for responding to enquiries and providing information to the public, registered Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART) clinics, government departments and agencies.
- The Donor Conception Registry Officer is responsible for receiving donor conceived pregnancy and birth information from ART clinics and verifying this information with the Victorian Births, Deaths and Marriages.
- On occasion, the Donor Conception Registry Officer will be required to sensitively inform individuals they are donor conceived and to refer individuals and their families to appropriate support services.

**How you'll make a difference**:
- Assisting with monitoring and evaluation of stakeholder experience.
- Assisting with the development of written materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Performing audits of the Central and Voluntary Registers.
- Conducting search and find activities to locate people recorded in the Central Register.
- Classifying and archiving documents and records when required.
- Digitising medical files to be recorded on the Central Register when required.
- Providing continuous process improvement in relation to the activities undertaken in this role.
**Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate**:
- Tertiary qualification in sociology, health, education, information/records management, or relevant discipline.
- Experience working with individuals and families impacted by donor conception or adoption is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of issues related to fertility, infertility and assisted reproductive treatment or experience working in the fertility industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of working in a regulatory environment is highly desirable.
