**Streamline the Future: Technology Domain Owner - Simplification & Optimisation** This role will play a crucial part of the Digital Consumer Finance technology team, also supporting UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people. **What’s the role?** Westpac is seeking a strategic technology leader to drive simplification, optimisation, and performance across our enterprise landscape. As **Technology Domain Owner**, you’ll lead the design and governance of core systems within Digital Consumer Finance, ensuring tech investments deliver efficiency, scalability, and impact. This is a senior role where your vision will shape smarter, leaner, and more effective technology solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead and grow a high-performing, diverse team with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. - Define and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with business and customer needs. - Oversee delivery of technical solutions with strong collaboration across product and engineering teams. - Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards and modern engineering practices. - Act as the key technology contact for business, compliance, operations and risk stakeholders. - Manage third-party vendors in line with CTO strategy and enterprise goals. - Champion emerging technologies to drive efficiency, growth and risk management. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and technology risk controls.Provide technical guidance and foster collaboration across domains and teams. **What do I need?** - Lead with empathy, performance focus, and a culture of continuous improvement. - Communicate with clarity, influence, and commercial acumen in strategic forums. - Drive long-term tech planning, budgeting, and scalable systems design. - Solve problems with data-driven thinking and embrace emerging technologies. - Deliver operational excellence through service, incident and KPI management.Collaborate across complex environments with vision, resilience and impact. **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
