Technology Domain Owner - Permanent role - Sydney base - Career development and growth **How will I help?** The Technology Domain Owner role will be part of Mortgage Line of Business, which is large business providing over $500B in home lending to more than 1.5m Westpac group customers. The business generates more than 50% of the Westpac Groups cash earnings and holds more than 20% of the Australian mortgage market share. Mortgage Technology is responsible for providing the technology services across all our brands that underpin this critical business. From origination to digital channels, credit decisioning, settlement, servicing and our key ledger systems of record, our team ensures the technology is always on and available. We work with several key strategic vendors to deliver a large change agenda (> $100m pa) whilst also managing technology risk and technology strategy. We are a large team of more than 120 permanent employees and over 500 partners with resources based in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and India. This critical engineering leadership role is focused on the Originations component of the Mortgage Value chain, including Oracle Banking Platform, NextGen ApplyOnline and our digital mortgage channels. **Key responsibilities**: - Setting a clear vision and strategy with collaboration from the Head of Technology and LOB, drive the QBR process from the village perspective to ensure we achieve the prioritised business outcomes. Communicate 'the story' well to key stakeholders - Manage Juno issues and incidents related to systems and technology environment - Partner with senior stakeholders across Lob and technology to drive and implement the "Vision" and associated Technology strategy - Actively manage supply and demand to ensure its appropriately prioritised, funded, resourced and aligned with the LOB and Tech strategy - Working collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, by incorporating feedback when appropriate - Coordinating, empowering and enabling the village to deliver to customers' needs and delight them, including communicating impediments to delivery - Exuding passion and energy to foster enthusiasm among the squad in bringing the vision to life - A servant leader by seeking to understand by listening, and focusing on the growth of people - Adaptable and flexible to changes in priorities and demands **What's in it for me?** You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years.
