**The opportunity**
The Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership and accountability for the effective completion of a portfolio of numerous large-scale Supply Chain programs and projects for Primary Connect’s distribution centres across the country.
The Program Manager will collaborate closely with the business, project teams, and IT while building strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
This role will lead a Strategic and Operational Cost Reduction Program across Australia’s largest retail supply chain. Strong program management abilities will be needed for the position in order to create, approve, and implement operational plans that will accelerate the timely implementation of cost-cutting initiatives.

As Program Manager, you will have a cross-functional understanding of the Woolworths Group businesses or a similarly complex environment.
You will actively participate in the planning, developing, and implementing of a broad range of new initiatives that support our distribution centres and efficient transport deliveries to meet our customer needs.
Furthermore, you will sponsor and lead change initiatives within the DC, including partnering with support functions throughout Primary Connect and other business units in the Woolworths Group
- Strong end-to-end project and program management skills
- Experience working within a complex, matrixed organisation
- Excellent commercial judgement and an ability to prioritise, influence, and make value-creating decisions
- Strategic thinking with the ability to curate innovative ways of working
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deliver win-win outcomes for the wider organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storyboarding of the project and presentation skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others
- Ability to provide insight on results to assist senior leaders in driving outcomes
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business problems
- Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed to structure and manage workloads
- Detailed planning around project and program delivery and governance
