Hays Ballarat are partnering with a Victorian statutory authority to recruit a People Partner to support their team

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Manager or People Enquiries & Change, this role will sit as a part of the broader P&C team. You will be responsible for partnering with the leadership team to manager all HR and WHS related matters. This role will be responsible for case management of complex people matters, conducting performance reviews and performance management where required, provide leadership coaching in relation to people obligations and accountabilities.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to build your skills across generalist HR duties, projects and also WHS within a challenging yet rewarding environment.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have previous experience in a Senior HR Generalist role and are looking to take your next step into a role with greater challenge. You will have demonstrated ability to initiate, build and maintain strong and effective relationships with peers and leaders within the business. Experience and knowledge of the injury management (workers compensation and non-workers compensation) knowledge and advice in consultation with other P&C areas such as Injury Management and Workplace Relations would be highly advantageous.

To be successful in this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check.

**What you'll get in return**

This role is paying $120,000 + super, offers hybrid work set up and potential to be part-time
