Lifestyle Centred Services is an NDIS and TAC registered provider of supports for people with disability and mental health support needs throughout Victoria, we specialise in psycho-social disability and those faced with minor or major mental health issues providing services for people of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of abilities and support needs.

**About the Role**:
This role is perfect for someone with a **person-centred** approach, has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with minor and complex mental health needs, who enjoys a challenge and enjoys the rewarding feeling of **making a difference** in someone’s life.

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers for **an adult** requiring support within the home involving Community Access.

**Shifts available**: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2 hours (time is flexible)

**Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.**

**Pay rate **Minimum starting rate is $40.36 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

**Skills and Experience**:
Experience and or/Academic or professional experience in mental health or a similar field (i.e., Psychology, Nursing, Community Services, Youth Work or Social Work)
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven.
- Reliable, kind and caring nature, with good work ethics
- Be patient and understanding.
- Well-presented and a professional approach
- Positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mental health and the issues that are faced.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Current resume and 2 professional referees
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer) - if supporting U18
- Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
