Laboratory Technician

**Laboratory Technician**:
Join our Microbiology Labs team

**About the role**:
The role will involve conducting routine analytical testing and validation procedures, and well as general laboratory tasks such as sample preparation and cleaning glassware. This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, with some rostered weekend work as required (normally one in four) and public holidays as required.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

- a relevant tertiary qualification in biology (or other related science field), and/or significant relevant experience
- experience in an IANZ-accredited laboratory preferred
- excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
- excellent attention to detail

To ensure success, bring along your positive attitude and team spirit. An ability to remain focused and consistent while working efficiently to timelines is also a necessity along with the willingness to complete hands-on routine tasks.
