**Laboratory Technician - Natural Toxins**:
**About the role**:
We are recruiting for a permanent full-time Technician to join our Natural Toxins Laboratory team, based at our Halifax St East site. The team specialises in the testing of water and shellfish samples, performing a wide variety of tests from LC-SM/MS based biotoxin testing to microalgae analysis by microscopy.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- a tertiary science qualification
- excellent practical laboratory skills
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.

In addition, it would be beneficial if you have:

- experience using different equipment/instrumentation and sample preparation techniques
- experience in microscopy
- experience in an IANZ 17025 accredited and/or commercial laboratory
- experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
