**The Client**

Freight forwarder offering warehouse solutions is looking for an experienced Customer service/Operations person to join a small team.

**The Position**

As a critical member of this branch you will be accountable for:

- Coordinating customer shipments from end to end
- Maintaining rates in CargoWise and establish cost cutting opportunities for customers
- Liaising with shipping lines and wholesale freight forwarders
- Identifying opportunities to raise revenue
- Resolving service issues for customers in a timely manner
- Developing clients and completing client visits
- Conduct business reviews for customers/preparing reports

**The Requirements**

To be successful in this role you will display:

- Experience 5 years+ in operations and customer service
- Strong negotiating skills
- Excellent operational knowledge of the freight forwarding industry/Local experience only
- Proven customer focus and a team player attitude
- Proficient IT skills and intermediate level in word, excel and power point
