Building on the GPS mission, the Go-To-Market (GTM) team mission is to activate platforms for partner driven impact, aligned to priority workloads to accelerate digital transformation and differentiation for Australia and New Zealand customers.

The **Manager, Partner Marketing will lead the GTM organisation** covering solution area and industry marketing execution, partner enablement and investment. This includes connecting corporate and local teams to find synergies and maximize partner investments, pushing partner co-sell to the next level and promoting evolution of partner capacity and capability.

**Responsibilities**:
**The Purpose of this Role**
- People Management, talent hiring and retention, support people development across the roles in Go-To-Market (GTM)
- Lead end to end solution area and partner industry marketing through excellence in execution including campaign development, initiatives, programs, readiness, investment connected with area growth plans and business goals
- Understand partner’s business, plans, and objectives in partnership with global, field marketing and segment aligning partner marketing activities and plans to deliver tangible impact and progress in partner capacity and capacity against those goals, maximising readiness, and investments plans
- Ensure measurement KPIs are in place to track impact to sales pipeline, Microsoft Cloud revenue generated from joint solutions’ sales, campaigns, or offers through partner. Ensure good budget management practices and high ROI for all marketing funds invested.
- Advocate for the creation of new capabilities and opportunities through partner experiences to help provide a competitive advantage and to land key product messages with partners.

- Leadership of marketing activities to generate qualified leads creating and executing Go-To-Market campaigns through partners.
- Maximise and prioritise marketing investments to obtain the maximum ROI.
- Consolidates insights to succinctly summarise the business for senior leadership. Utilises expertise in key aspects of the business and rigor of execution to drive contributions to worldwide business performance.
- Build awareness of partner business and success stories among subsidiary leadership.

**What skills do you need to have?**

There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:

- Experience in people management in areas of field facing roles in marketing, strategy or business development.
- Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency
- The ability to work cross-team in ambiguous and changing environments, along with excellent listening and partnering skills.
- Passionate, results-driven, and organised approach; with an attention to detail: A self-starter who can create and deliver scalable plans from concept to delivery, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects, effectively driving to measurable results.
- Executive Relations: The ability to interact confidently with senior leaders to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program, or solution.
- Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 5+ years partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
