**About the Role**
- Located in Melbourne, the Marketing Coordinator will assist with the day to day functions of the AU Marketing team across both channels small business and partner marketing. An important aspect of this role will be establishing and maintaining good working relationships both within the AU marketing team, the wider organisation (including sales and operations, education, global brand and events, creative agencies, comms, and customer experience) plus external customer facing presence among partners, industry groups and agencies.
**What you’ll do**
- Provide execution and administrative support for marketing programs, events and initiatives (sponsored industry events, Xero roadshow, Xerocon, education events, Xero Awards). Please note you may be required to travel in order to fulfill this duty.
- Support GTM and operational communications (product enhancements / launches) to our small business customers and accountants and bookkeepers.
- Coordinate customer newsletters (SmB and Partner News) including content planning, creation and curation, creative agency briefing, template building and testing.
- Provide administrative support for marketing campaigns as/when required (briefing, developing, delivering and reporting).
- Support the SmB Marketing Team with paid media delivery. Support in setting up events aligned to our Marketing calendar. This includes events logistics, ordering merchandise, post event surveys and more.
- Maintaining merchandise orders for the Sales team.
- Responsible for the timely tracking of brand health and customer data and basic analysis.
- Assist in managing marketing systems and provide support training to the wider marketing team as required (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Aventri, google analytics etc).
- Monitor and respond to queries through slack channels in a timely manner that support our key stakeholders i.e. sales.
- Manage marketing / events inbox regularly, following up with key stakeholders where required.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as/when required (eg POs, invoices, organising travel etc).
- Provide assistance with marketing budget as required, including quotes, purchase orders and receipting.
**What you’ll bring with you**
- Be a ‘hands on’ marketing professional interested in developing their skills and knowledge in the field
- Understand the different forms/elements of marketing within an organisation and the reason for their implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines
- A willingness to operate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Capable of working effectively with stakeholders across the organisation
- Proactive, self motivated and consistent
- Strong attention to detail and determination to take projects to completion
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proven experience working in an administrative or marketing role
- Exposure with G Suite + Slack, Adobe, Canva
