Description of the role:
MultiConnexions is Australia’s leading global marketing, diaspora marketing, multicultural marketing, and advertising agency. It is an integrated, full service, 360-degree agency providing solutions to target diaspora audiences in Australia and overseas especially in China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines among others. China has emerged as a leading country of origin for migration to Australia. MultiConnexions is keen to strengthen its services in China and tap on diaspora connections in Australia. The China Marketing Manager will support and actively grow business with the China corridor. The role requires presence in Australia and China to understand and maximise Chinese business opportunities in terms of marketing and investments in Australia. With more Chinese companies looking at investing in Australia (including automobile, FMCG, jewellery, entertainment etc.), the China Business Manager will represent MultiConnexions Group to maximise these opportunities.

based in Sydney, frequent travel in Australia and China

Specific skills, qualifications and experience required for the position:
The role requires:
in depth knowledge of China China’s processes and policies

Governance and legal requirements doing business in China

strong connectivity with industry stakeholders businesses in China

**Responsibilities**:
Assist CEO in planning and developing international marketing strategies and campaigns to reach target markets
- contextual China and Chinese communities in Australia

Develop marketing plans and organise advertising policies and associated budget to implement

Identify potential business opportunities with companies in China who are keen to expand to Australia and build close relationships through marketing activities undertaken both in China and in Australia

Build long-term business relationships, collaborations and partnerships to support business growth and development

Plan and coordinate with departments for product launch and marketing activities

Study marketing trends and identify future long-term China business opportunities

Advising all elements of marketing and extended capacity to digital marketing especially advertising and sales promotion on social media and platforms

Review performance every quarter against KPIs and prepare management reports

Knowledge and Skills

Strategic business and marketing experience in China of 8+ years

Strong relationship skills

Collaboration with domestic marketing team on general marketing tasks

Based in Australia - needs to interface Australian partners in Australia

Strong English communication skills - verbal and written

Knowledge of IT and cyber security systems

Fluent, high-level English and Mandarin - verbal and written

Experience with Chinese media platforms including social media - WeChat, Little Red Book among others

Cultural sensitivity

Pay: $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission
