**Job description**:
The Manager, Specialist Partnering, leads a team of HR professionals based in Australia and New Zealand that help drive the execution of IAG divisional people plans. This role reviews, priorities and allocates work requests and coaches the team of Specialists to deliver consistent people experiences, drive cultural change and enable business performance.

This is a great secondment opportunity to hone your HR and people leadership skills, or to step into a new part of IAG and expand your experiences and capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coach, develop and lead a team of trans-Tasman Specialists who partner with business leaders to provide advice and deliver key people projects and processes that directly align to the customer and commercial needs of the division.
- Manage and prioritise the pipeline of Specialist Partnering engagements to meet the needs of individual divisions and IAG as whole.
- Monitor the quality assurance and interdependencies of Specialist Partnering Team assignments across all stages of the employee life cycle by connecting with stakeholders throughout the People & Culture Team.
- Recommend and influence continuous improvements throughout the employee lifecycle by sharing data, observations, market intelligence and insights regarding IAG people practices.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in team leadership and managing programs of work.
- Experience in HR business partnering, HR centres of expertise and/or HR operational roles.
- Strong understanding of people and human resources strategies, polices and processes.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and organisation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to draw insights and recommendations.
