**What’s the opportunity?**

As a National Alliances & Distributors Lead, you'll manage the relationships and success of national partners, alliances and distributors that are aligned to supporting Vocus sales engagements with E&G. These partners bring specialist capabilities that are required in delivering solutions to Vocus customers. Beyond delivery partners, you'll manage relationships with technology alliances and distributors who support the Vocus Go to Market strategy. You'll work closely with the partner solutions team and the channel programs lead to ensure maximum value in our relationships.

**Your key deliverables will include**:

- Managing national partners who can provide services to meet customer solution requirements
- Optimise the partner pool to minimise overlap and maximise margins
- Managing technology alliances who provide capabilities that form part of the Go to Market strategy
- Engage with state-based strategic partner managers to align on required capabilities
- Alignment of partners to Vocus regulatory and compliance requirements
- Manage partner performance and ongoing reporting
- Adjust partner pool and capabilities as market demand changes
- Manage and develop relationships with distribution partners
- Work with procurement to ensure optimised commercial outcomes with distribution partners
- Primary escalation points for bi-directional issues
- Support the development of commercial and legal constructs to incorporate partner services into customer contracts

**Skills and experience you will ideally bring to the table**:

- You have full rights to work in Australia. You are an Australian citizen or a Permanent Resident
- You'll have 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge in developing partnerships with financial targets.
- Experience in Telecommunication sector is a plus
- Experience with distributors and technology partners, especially cloud and security highly is desirable
- Ability to negotiate contracts is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong partner engagement and management
- Must have experience in working with professional and managed service partnerships
- Commercially minded
- Comfortable in handling escalations and resolving issues
- Optimising programs and managing stakeholder expectations
- Experience with technology partners, especially cloud and security highly desirable
- Some experience in managing project desirable
- Develop and manage relationships for a long-term business benefit
- Handling competing requirements from various stakeholders
- Confidence in presenting strategies
- Understand the dynamics of sales and how to build solutions
- Patient and willing to support the development of people’s skills
