**As ICT Purchasing Officer you will**: - Undertake ICT procurement related activities, ensuring that orders, invoices and goods receipts are processed in a timely manner, and in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality purchasing related services to clients and external stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver high quality customer focused services. Provide information management support, including maintaining records and registers. Contribute to the administration and review of financial systems and procurement processes. Assist to identify and implement business improvement opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards (including the Financial Management Practice Manual), Australian Accounting Standards, and relevant legislation. Foster and role-model a work environment that values teamwork, customer service, performance, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the business unit. Demonstrate commitment to contemporary standards of ethical practice, workplace safety, equity, and diversity.

Hold a level 2 or higher Queensland Government Procurement Certification. This is not mandatory requirement for appointment however, current certification or equivalent would be highly regarded. The department can provide training to attain this certification however, the appointee must successfully attain certification within two months from commencement.
