The ERP Product Owner will ensure all aspects of current business processes are supported, including their integrations and data, enabling seamless business continuity. The role will support, work closely with and advise key areas of Finance, Operations and Procurement & Supply Chain.
**What are your responsibilities?**
- System maintenance, overseeing the daily functionality and optimization of the ERP
- Business Analysis, working closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into technical specifications, and end solutions in JDE.
- Business Engagement, building rapport and relationships with key impact areas of the business, end user of the product, and prioritising any critical failures
- Management of the productivity and performance of consultants and system integrators responsible for working on JDE Edwards.
- Vendor Management by reviewing, engaging and testing of any support, updates, and new upgrades through our partners.
- Strategy and Planning through roadmaps, regular status updates and presentations
- Participate in project planning, including task estimation and risk identification
- Training and Support of any end users of JDE, its modules, functionalities, queries or troubleshooting.
- Compliance and Security adherence through framework of company protocols in place, protection of data and system integrity. Develop SOPs and standard template documentation, update user manuals and how to guides, ensuring that all users with access to JDE are compliant with technology and cyber security regulations.
**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Demonstrated success in a similar role, min 5-7 years experience with JDE
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems or related
- Digital technology XP and in depth understanding of ERPs both front and back end
- Technical experience with JDE Enterprise1 including tools like Report Design Aid (RDA) Form Design Aid (FDA) and Business Function Programming (C Programming)
- Demonstrated ability to define and follow the SDLC process aligning best practice, and utilising JDE tools such as OMW to manage the process.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience managing a team to service and support a complex multi-site business
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Commitment and patience to resolve problems/issues in timely manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work hours to meet support requirements and any project deadlines
