**The Role**:
Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, the Merchandise Assistant will support the Merchandise Team in the growth and profitability, whilst having a strong focus on administrative processes. Furthermore, assist in the development and implementation of category plans for National Trade Promotions, Catalogues, Flyers and any other Trade Events.

**Duties include**:

- Support all members of the category team
- Assist with loading of images and catalogue layouts
- General marketing support
- Administer processes relating to the category
- Manage product data related activities including vendor cost changes, clearance excess reporting, product data and pricing maintenance
- Assist with retail and trade promotional builds and ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with event and promotional planning
- Data base management
- Compile reporting

**About You**:

- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and focused mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills — both verbal and written.
- A self-starter who can work independently, adapt to changing needs, and approach tasks with a flexible, positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills to support the team and business goals.
- Previous exposure to retail, trade, or workshop environments is advantageous but not essential.
- A great team player who enjoys collaborating and supporting others.
- Experience working in an administrative or corporate environment is a plus but not required.
- An understanding of marketing or merchandise principles would be beneficial, but we encourage anyone with an interest in these areas to apply.
