- Corrective Services NSW has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven team player to join the team responsible for facilitating the delivery of education services and programs within a correctional centre.
**Your role**
- Based at St Heliers Correctional Centre, you will coordinate the delivery of education programs and services, the role is also responsible for the supervision of the Assessment and Planning Officer. **Work changes lives.**

**What you’ll do**
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to plan the delivery of education and vocational training programs by the external education service provider.
- Coordinate the delivery of assessment and planning services to offenders including the identification of priority inmates and allocation and monitoring of team caseloads.
- Contribute to offender case management by providing regular reports on offenders’ learning progress and achievement and by participating in a range of case management activities.
- Monitor the quality of recording and reporting of offender participation in education and training programs.
- Appraise the performance of supervised staff and provide counsel and feedback to ensure organisational and personal development objectives are achieved.
**What we’re looking for someone who is**:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- A proficient communicator with intermediate technology skills.
- Experienced in leading a small team.
**Essential requirements**
- Operational experience in planning and scheduling educational programs: vocational training, foundation skills, traineeships, core skills assessments (CSA).
- Intermediate technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams and records management software.
- Current Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role.
