About the Role

The Manager Employee Services role leads the Employee Services team in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of employment management services. The position leads a team that provides aligned, efficient, responsive, and best-practice employment management services that support excellence in service delivery and enables a strong and supportive partnership between the operational business unit and People, Culture and Safety.

Reporting to the Head of Workforce, Compensation & People Systems, the role provides effective, accurate and timely employment management support on a range of employee services across the organisation with a keen focus on building a positive employee experience. The role works collaboratively with the People Culture & Safety team, Head of People & Culture and Head of Workplace Relations to manage compliance with Baptcare’s Enterprise Agreements, Awards and National Employee Standards and to minimise operational risks.

Key Duties

Lead and manage the Employee Services team, fostering a positive and outcomes-based approach, developing, and maintaining stakeholder relationships that successfully engage across Baptcare.

Manage the advisory function of the Employee Services team to provide first point advice to employees and line managers regarding the employee life cycle.

Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary employment management practices which provide an effective, consistent, and timely delivery of services to support organisational objectives.

Liaise with the People, Culture and Safety team and line managers to undertake or assist with specific initiatives, projects, and assignments.

**You will ideally bring the following**:
Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary employment management practices which provide an effective, consistent, and timely delivery of services to support organisational objectives.

Liaise with the People, Culture and Safety team and line managers to undertake or assist with specific initiatives, projects, and assignments.

**Essential**:
Previous experience leading an employment management function.

Desirable

Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources management, business or equivalent.

Previous experience leading an advisory or administration function the Aged Care industry.
