**As the National Workplace Health & Safety Manager your role will be to review, report and drive the Hungry Jacks culture of safety, health and governance across the company which supports the duty of care for our employees, customers, franchisees, contractors and vendors.**:
**As a dynamic and influential WHS leader, you will drive our safety strategy, lead and oversee our safety and injury management systems and bring innovative ideas which will prove invaluable to striving to achieve zero injuries to our employees, customers, contractors, vendors and any other visitors to our restaurants and construction sites.**:
**Key Position Responsibilities & Requirements**:
- **Undertake a complete analysis of WHS practices across the Hungry Jacks business including, Human Resources, Operations, Food Safety, Operations Excellence Risk/Insurance, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Construction of new sites and Restaurant Refurbishment**:
- **Lead and implement WHS best practices, providing WHS support and advice**:
- **Champion a positive safety culture across our operations and national support teams to drive WHS education and increased awareness**:
- **Monitor safety performance and provide regular reports to management**:
- **Conduct, coordinate, facilitate and review incident investigations, WHS audit and inspection programs**:
- **Support return to work and rehabilitation functions**:
- **Build and maintain relationships across all level of staff / management**:
- **Regularly assess safety / environmental risks within the workplace and ensure compliance including update of all training material to be reflective of any WHS requirements**:
- **Achieve reductions in number of incidents, lost time injuries, workers compensation claims and public liability claims to support the reduction of our insurance premiums**:
- **Monitor and support the contractor pre-qualification process**:
- **Deal with external providers and regulatory bodies as required**:
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Tertiary qualifications WHS and/or related discipline**:
- **Multi-site WHS operational experience in Retail, Food or Hospitality Industries**:
- **Demonstrative ability to drive change and influence across the entire corporation including the Senior Leadership Team**:
- **Proactive approach to safety culture**:
- **Current drivers licence**:
- **Demonstrated knowledge of safety auditing procedures, corrective action plans, conducting investigations and risk assessments**:
- **Knowledge and experience dealing with Regulatory bodies, Council and / or Environmental Health Officers**:
- **Excellent communication skills
- written/ verbal and interpersonal skills**:
- **Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and presenting training programs**:
