The primary purpose of this role is supporting our veterinary and healthcare clients with their decision making. This would involve but is not limited to:

- Industry analysis and benchmarking
- Interpreting financial, industry, and property data in various contexts
- Forecast modelling (clinic operations, loan repayments, property lease or purchase)
- Business case preparation, to secure bank funding

**Key accountabilities**
- Financial and operational analysis for client cashflow models
- Business case preparation for brokers/lenders
- Participation in project meetings in order to fully understand project requirements and expectations
- Responsible for maintaining project management tools and trackers

**Key challenges**
- Gain confidence and support of clients through a collaborative cashflow build - this may involve challenging existing assumptions in a respectful and productive way
- Dynamic property and operational environment can involve modelling various scenarios and options - must be able to support all findings and assumptions in an accurate and timely manner

**Key relationships**
- _External_ - finance lenders/brokers, clients (vets, doctors, dentists)
- _Internal_ - GMs, Project Manager, Data, Marketing

- Operate with high level of autonomy within agreed scope
- Accountable for quality, integrity, and accuracy of advice provided

**You will have**
- Strong understanding of fundamentals of management accounting and/or financial analysis (P&L), and working knowledge of cashflows and ROI, including forecasting
- Strong experience with Excel
- Experience with analysis, forecasting, and (bonus) data visualisation tools
- 3-5 years of proven organisational experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly relating to information and data collection, understanding the context, and transformation into useful and easily understood information (for various stakeholders)
- Confidence to explain and support your advice through various scenarios, with clarity and rigour around any assumptions made. This can include challenging client assumptions in a respectful and productive way

**Nice to have**
- Some knowledge/experience with veterinary, healthcare (including dental), commercial property is advantageous, but not necessary

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
