We are seeking a dynamic **Pricing Assistant **on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based in Heatherton, Victoria who will be responsible for supporting the broader Pricing Team with day-to-day pricing operations in line with Independent Hardware Group (IHG) strategic position.

A customer facing role, the customer being our Members, our Suppliers and the IHG team. Success delivers alignment to our Pricing policies and procedures, with effective communication and outcomes across all stakeholder divisions.

**What you’ll do**
- To maintain the integrity of IHG Pricing requirements, ensuring policies, procedures and timelines are adhered.
- To work closely with our Category Managers and Suppliers, managing end-to-end Supplier cost change process.
- To prepare and release relevant member Pricing communications
- Produce specific reports as required by Category Teams such as margin reviews and competitor reviews.
- To validate Product and Pricing data to support ongoing business strategies.
- Integrity and alignment of Pricing data across dual IHG systems (AX and COM) in accordance with ACCC legislation.

**What you’ll be**
- Analytical acumen; demonstrated retail analytics with specific reference to margin management and competitor pricing.
- Advanced computing skills with specific reference to Microsoft Excel
- Strong ability to communicate and educate decisions in accordance with key accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Ability to follow up requirements both internally and externally whilst educating repercussions to non-adherence to agreed timeframes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-changing environment, with limited supervision, working to business deadlines.
