Family owned company Nikpol, known for their on-trend interior design products and finishes, have recently secured a European Kitchen Appliance brand - Blaupunkt and we’re looking for a **Category Manager Assistant** join our team and maximise our market opportunity.

With over 40 years of experience Nikpol has grown from a two man operation to become a leading supplier for the new home, renovation and commercial joinery market across Australia. Having over 140 employees in 3 locations, all with the vision to help shape the future of sustainable interiors.

The Category Manager Assistant will provide support to the Brand Manager of Blaupunkt Kitchen Appliances and:
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide assistance to the Brand Manager across all administrative tasks such as Report Writing, Proposals and Quotes, Corporate Presentations, Agendas, & Taking minutes at Category Manager Meetings.
- Research and report on the market place, competitors, alternative products and pricing and Brand’s performance.
- Review and analyse sales results of products to determine future product mix and business opportunities.
- Ensure all new products are set up with codes, pricing, description and marketing collateral requirements.
- Provide timely and professional reports on request from Senior Management.
- Liaise with the Purchasing Department to manage faulty product claims for customers.
- Liaise with internal customers such as Purchasing, Sales and Operations to ensure forecasting and inventory are being managed.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Clerk to ensure all marketing collateral is available.
- Support Sales Representatives with marketing materials.
- Liaise and collaborate with the Purchasing Team and Sales Managers and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve Company objectives.
- Assist the Graphic Designer with Campaign development for products and execution to the market and our customers.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A Tertiary Degree in Commerce (Logistics/Supply Change Management, Finance, Accounting)
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Great Interpersonal skills
- Passionate about all things brand, highly driven and ready to learn.
