**About the business**

Our Privately Owned Early Learning Centre is a beautiful service which offers quality care and education to all children (6 weeks to 6 years) within a safe, secure, nurturing and stimulating environment.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director and Educational Leader who holds a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and has relevant experience in a Management Position and Educational Leader role.

**About the role**
- The position is up to 37.5 hours per week working in both the rooms as an Educator and within the Office supporting our Centre Director.
- Interact with children in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner.
- Demonstrate positive behaviour strategies and support children's learning.
- Work with other team members in the inclusion, support and care of all children.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework for individual children and groups via our Storypark App
- Contribute to and support NQF principles.
- Maintain and support a safe environment for staff and children.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities

**Skills and experience**
- An approved Early Childhood qualification - Minimum Diploma level with relevant experience in a Management Position and Educational Leader role.
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Working With Children Check
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A dynamic personality, self-motivated, creativity and a clear passion for early childhood education
- Ability to interact with children and families in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner
- Effective time management skills
- To be available 5 days per week and willing to work a variety of shifts, based on the needs of the service.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $57,926.00 - $73,405.00 per year
