**About the Role**
We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Program Manager leading several Data Projects.

The Program Manager (Data Projects) leads the strategic planning and delivery of data and AI initiatives aligned with Swinburne University's digital strategy. Working closely with the Chief Data Analytics Officer and senior leadership, this role oversees the full project lifecycle—from stakeholder engagement and resource management to execution and performance reporting.

The Program Manager ensures agile delivery of impactful data outcomes, drives data maturity, and fosters cross-departmental collaboration. A key focus will be aligning projects with strategic priorities while implementing effective communication strategies and enhancing organisational performance.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Serve as a primary point of contact for data and AI project delivery across the University, aligning efforts with the overall data strategy
- Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Collaborate with the CDAO to develop the University’s data strategy and annual operating plans.
- Use data insights to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and strategic growth.
- Drive initiatives that improve data quality, data governance, and predictive analytics capabilities
- Lead the development and execution of AI and machine learning projects.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on data projects.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in data program management within complex organisations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Project Management or a related field.
