**About the role**

As a **Medical Sales Specialist** in the Continence & Ostomy Care team you will be responsible for promoting our range of Continence & Ostomy Care to clinical and non-clinical customers. Building, growing and maintaining relationships will be the foundation for your success in this position.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Using your passion and drive to promote business development utilising previous clinical and medical Consumables/Devices sales experience.
- Being determined, energetic, personable, dynamic, self-motivated and resilient.
- Provide technical advice / product education to both customers and fellow colleagues.
- Attract success in the healthcare industry through a results-orientated approach to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Attend and support Industry events as required.
- Be able to travel inter and intra state as required to service the territory.
- Work collaboratively within the wider Convatec team while working autonomously in your territory.
- Work in compliance with company and industry policies and standard operating procedures.
- Understand and utilize the Convatec Sales Framework.

**About you**

To be successful you will:

- Be a proficient (intermediate) user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; and PowerPoint
- Have previous experience with digital sales tools including Customer Relationship Management programs (CRM’s)
- Possess Continence & Ostomy experience with a Sales or Nursing background (highly regarded).

Education/Qualifications
- Possess Tertiary or equivalent professional qualification
