One of our leading clients in the communications multimedia space is seeking a Product Owner who will be responsible for driving delivery in an agile team.

You will work with the Product Manager to understand the product vision and commercial goals for the specific area of expertise you have been assigned, then work with the development team providing detailed analysis to derive requirements and drive outcomes.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Gather and document product, feature and user experience requirements by engaging with stakeholders and directly with customers.
- Define stories with acceptance criteria and prioritise the existing backlog making sure the plan and company vision is executed in a structured manner.
- Be the interface with the testers and developers. Daily collaboration with the scrum team to clarify requirements, dissolve blockers, and answer inquiries.
- Champion and lead internal product information, training and update sessions to enable the wider team to be aware of the short and long-term objectives and direction of the Product Team.
- Participate in Scrum events including but not limited to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand ups.
- Conduct user acceptance testing, report bugs, and approve features/ products before release.
- Plan releases and align with other stakeholders on release plans of new products and features.
- Manage the backlog and reprioritise it based on changing requirements.
- Work closely with product management and senior management in making product related key decisions.

**To be successful you will have the following skills and attributes**:

- Previous working experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment.
- Facilitation skills that draw the most out of all participants and converge rapidly on an outcome.
- Can demonstrate a strong understanding of agile methodologies, requirements gathering, prioritisation, identifying and addressing constraints, dependencies and risks.
- Strong experience working with technical teams to translate business requirements to technical requirements and user stories.
- Ability to build great relationships with the team and stakeholders.
- Desirable: experience with Confluence and Jira.
