Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Trades Assistant to join our on-site team.

The team member will be responsible for the installation of architectural stairs in commercial fit-outs. Experience with working with steel in the construction industry is a must.

This role is required to follow plans accurately, follow site safety rules and always work safely.

Key Requirements:

- Proven experience as Trades Assistant or Carpenter
- Trade qualifications preferred
- Hands-on experience working on commercial sites
- High level of communication
- Adherence to production deadlines and time management
- A high proficiency in reading shop drawings and site marking plans
- Work on-site and factory when required
- Understanding of safe and effective operation of tools required to complete the job
- Knowledge of applicable safety equipment and safe practices to minimise the risk of injury or damage
- Team player
- Must have valid driver's licence and own vehicle

Job Responsibility:

- Follow shop drawings/plans to meet the project requirements
- Work in a safe manner and always follow safety rules

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $41.00 - $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Trades Assistant: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian driver's licence (preferred)
- Trade Qualification (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
