Melbourne Park is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Risk and Compliance Manager** to help shape and protect the future of one of Australia’s most iconic precincts. **About the Role**

Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, the **Risk and Compliance Manager** plays a vital role in developing and managing Melbourne Park’s risk and compliance frameworks. With a strong focus on governance, assurance, and business continuity, this role helps safeguard our people, processes, and partners while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, support key governance committees, and take the lead on internal audit coordination, insurance, and regulatory compliance. You’ll also guide the business in understanding and managing strategic and operational risks across a dynamic, ever-evolving event precinct.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust risk and compliance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and coordinate risk registers across the business
- Provide risk and compliance reporting to key governance bodies including the Finance, Audit & Risk (FAR) Committee
- Coordinate internal audits, assurance reviews, and risk-based compliance programs
- Ensure policies and procedures remain current with legislation and best practice
- Investigate and respond to compliance breaches and incidents
- Manage business continuity planning and material incident responses
- Oversee insurance claims and support the annual policy renewal process
- Champion training programs to foster a strong culture of risk awareness and compliance

**What You’ll Bring**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of risk management standards (ISO 31000)
- Understanding of legal, regulatory, and industry requirements
- Experience coordinating internal audits or assurance programs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead initiatives, influence others, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

In this role, you’ll help ensure the long-term resilience and integrity of a globally recognised precinct. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying emerging risks, improving organisational controls, and building awareness across all levels of the business—from day-to-day operations through to executive decision-making.
