** About the role**

The Team Leader Development Compliance will be reporting to the Manager Health & Building. This role will be expected to:

- Support the Manager to achieve the Strategic Community & Operation Plan deliverables.
- Manage development compliance programs in a holistic manner ensuring proactive audits and investigations including research, field inspections and taking appropriate regulatory enforcement are conducted to a high standard.
- Lead and inspire the team, coach and develop staff to solve problems and encourage continual business improvement.

** Remuneration**

$123,173.96 - $138,824.92 + 12% Superannuation + Access to Vehicle Leaseback Scheme + Telephone Allowance

** Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as town planning, building surveying, environmental management, investigations or equivalent-
- Significant relevant industry experience-
- Experience and ability to supervise, train, mentor and performance manage staff members-
- Extensive knowledge of and high level capacity to develop, lead and implement a legislative and regulatory framework relevant to the work of the team including, but not limited to the Local Government Act 1993; Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979; Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997; State, Regional & Local Environmental Planning Policies; Development Control Plans; National Construction Code (Building Code of Australia) and Australian Standards-
