**The Opportunity**

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a successful team at our Thomastown Facility reporting to our Maintenance & Reliability Manager.

It is the chance to work alongside our inclusive and collaborative production team to provide ongoing mechanical maintenance and breakdown rectification of our equipment to ensure production productivity and minimize downtime.

The role also brings with it a variety of project work, including fabrication works and machinery upgrade works, with the requirement to support our Lara facility if required.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

- Undertaking predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for all manufacturing equipment
- Performing breakdown maintenance effectively and efficiently
- Accurately inspect machinery and tools, ensuring that all parts are in working order
- Maintaining a spare part register accurately
- Evaluating and recommending equipment improvements to increase efficiency, capability, and output
- Project works, including but not limited to Fabrication & Machinery upgrades

**About You**
- Trade Qualification or Equivalent
- Tig & Mig Welding Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Effective communication skills

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Thomastown, VIC 3074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
