- Salary: $100,332 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**About the Role**

The Research Associate will contribute to the research efforts of UniSA Justice & Society, Australian Centre for Child Protection (ACCP), and in particular will undertake research on partnered projects with government and non-government organisations. This role is able to be located in the ACCP office in Western Australia or Victoria.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Undertake research under limited supervision to achieve project grant outcomes; i.e. research activities contributing to the development of research, policy and practice outcomes
- Design and implement a range of methodologies to achieve planned project outcomes
- Prepare or contribute to the preparation of industry outputs and reports, practice resources, refereed journal publications, conference and seminar papers arising from the project
- Provide advice to post graduate students in the appointee’s area of expertise
- Undertake administrative duties associated with relevant projects, as required from time to time

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline area relevant to the project (e.g., psychology, social science, social work, health)
- Evidence of high quality project outputs commensurate with the length of research career
- Excellent written and oral communication skills demonstrated through written work, and through effective liaison with external partners, colleagues and students
- Ability to plan and manage project outcomes with stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
