**The Company**
The business specializes on providing delivery, design, construction, and maintenance services for civil infrastructure live projects in Sydney. They place a high priority on upgrading the facilities and infrastructure of the surrounding communities as well as sustainability across all of their networks. They are seeking a Construction Manager to join their team as their workload grows.

**Main Duties**
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Developing comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Identifying potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints and allocate resources efficiently to achieve optimal productivity.
- Creating project timelines and schedules, setting milestones and deadlines.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify and rectify quality issues and implement quality control measures to prevent defects and rework.
- Conducting safety training for team members and subcontractors.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or similar.
- Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in the civil space, ideally with an established construction/civil company.
- Proven experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully completed projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Team management of at least 8+ people required.
