**Position**: Disability Support Worker
**Location**: Booragul, NSW
**Role Type**: Casual

**About the Role**:
Provide support for a friendly and resilient young person with daily living and personal care tasks. Duties include assistance with morning routines, personal care, school preparation, meal assistance, and gentle physiotherapy encouragement. Must ensure comfort, independence, and well-being.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with youth with physical disabilities or similar needs
- Ability to operate lifting equipment (e.g., hoist, Sara Steady)
- Patient, encouraging, and attentive to detailed care needs
- Basic knowledge of meal prep and household tasks
- Manual handling and stoma care knowledge required
- Ability to communicate clearly, considering mild hearing impairment

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
