**About the Company**
Our large NSW State Government client provides a diverse range of essential services to reduce criminal activity and enhance protection of the community.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join their team in Berkshire Park. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.
Working within the Offender Management and Programs business unit, you will be required to provide a wide range of administrative support services to facilitate the delivery and performance Offender services and programs
- As a representative for Correctional facility, please note that this role includes mínimal inmate interaction_
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain offender program records and files
- High volume data processing into the system
- Scan, upload and save files and records into TRIM
- Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Preparation of graduation certificates and rewards
- Assist Officers with weekly awards and graduations
- Creation of new participant files
- Update group face files
- Complete minutes at team meetings
- Generate routine reports including recording of all urinalysis results
- Archiving and storage of records and files
- Maintain office equipment, order stationary and other procurement related activities
- Submission and tracking of all Justice Health referrals
- Support on adhoc projects
- Manage and maintain staff training records and files
- Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships, facilitating collaboration, partnerships and contribution of idea’s
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional, resilient and a great work ethic
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
**Requirements**:
- Previous administration or business support experience
- Demonstrated experience working within a complex and sensitive environment
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency especially with MS Office suite, OIMS and TRIM
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
